Jeffrey Carter, DMD, MD
Clinical Director - Dr. Carter practices full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery. He hails from Connecticut and received his Engineering degree from Tufts University in Boston, MA. He holds a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from University of Connecticut and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Vanderbilt Medical School. He completed his surgical training at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, TN.
R. Alan Davenport, DNP, MS, CRNA, APRN
Didactic Director - Dr. Davenport grew up in Middle Tennessee and obtained his undergraduate nursing education at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro. A former Paramedic, and with extensive experience in both the Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit of what was Baptist Hospital and the Cardiovascular Intensive Care “Pods” of what is now St. Thomas West Hospital, he was accepted into Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia where he received the Janssen Pharmaceutical Award as the outstanding graduate in 1986.
Wm. Stuart McKenzie, DMD, MD
Co-Course Director - Dr. McKenzie practices full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery in the greater Nashville area as the owner of Mid-State Oral Surgery and Implant Center. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University and completed his Doctor of Medicine and surgical residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Johnny Williams, DMD, MS, FICOI
Course Director - Dr. Williams practices general dentistry. He is originally from the great state of Florida. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Biochemistry and a Masters degree in Chemistry from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. He attained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. After practicing for four years Dr. Williams completed an internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Oral surgical Institutes in Nashville, Tennessee. He holds a Fellowship in International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
